On TechEd 2007 Microsoft announced that Visual Studio Orcas will be called
Visual Studio 2008
and
SQL Server Katmai will be SQL Server 2008
.
Also a new framework,
codenamed Acropolis
, for creating rich client applications has
CTP 1 available for download
.
